The principal

About Steven Tran.

Broker, REALTOR®, and the single point of accountability behind every REInfluence Group engagement — residential and commercial, Houston and beyond.

Biography

Ten years, one standard

Steven Tran began in Houston real estate in 2016, working investor acquisitions east of downtown while the Port boom reshaped the industrial map. The residential practice grew from those same disciplines — comparable-sales rigor, honest condition assessments, and negotiation grounded in evidence rather than enthusiasm.

Today REInfluence Group closes on both sides of the market: family homes in the Heights and Memorial, estates in River Oaks, office floors in the Galleria, retail pads in Katy, and multifamily across the Texas Triangle. Steven remains personally on every file — there is no hand-off to a junior team.

Philosophy

Three rules, never broken

01. Evidence over enthusiasm

Every price, every offer, every counter is built from closed comparables and current absorption — never from what a portal algorithm or a hopeful neighbor believes.

02. Fewer clients, deeper work

The roster is capped on purpose. Each engagement gets the principal's full attention — research, showings, negotiation, and closing, all handled directly.

03. The truth, early

If the foundation is suspect, the price is wrong, or the deal should die — you hear it first and plainly. Reputation compounds faster than any commission.

Process

How an engagement runs

  1. Consultation

Thirty minutes, in person or by video. We map your goals, timeline, and constraints — then tell you honestly whether and how we can help.

  2. Strategy & pricing

A written market read: comparable sales, absorption, seasonality, and a recommended position — list price, offer band, or lease economics.

  3. Preparation & launch

For sellers: staging, photography, and a coordinated debut. For buyers: a curated tour list with due-diligence flags raised before you fall in love.

  4. Negotiation

Offers, counters, repairs, and appraisal gaps — argued from evidence, documented in writing, with your walk-away number protected from day one.

  5. Close & beyond

Title, lender, and inspection threads managed to the wire. After closing: contractor referrals, tax-protest reminders, and an annual equity check-in.

Client letters

What clients say

Steven sold our Memorial home in nine days, over ask, while we were already in Austin. Every update arrived before we thought to ask for it.

We toured eleven buildings for our firm's new office. His Galleria short-list was the only one that understood both our lease math and our brand.

First home, Heights bungalow, multiple-offer situation — and we still won without overpaying. The negotiation was a masterclass.
